The Town of North Elba and Village of Lake Placid would like to invite community members to attend an upcoming Open House as part of the North Elba-Lake Placid Pathways project. Pathways is a project to update the Town and Village’s joint Comprehensive Plan, a document that charts a future for the community. The plan will be grounded in public input, and this Open House will build off the results of a recent Visioning Survey, which was open in January and February.

Why this project?
The North Elba-Lake Placid Pathways Plan is a comprehensive planning process. A comprehensive plan is a policy document that identifies community values, goals, and policy priorities. Comprehensive plans guide community development decisions and cover a range of topics, including transportation, housing, energy, conservation, recreation, and zoning. The Town and Village are jointly undertaking this planning process to build community health and resilience.
