Village Accounting & Finance

The Village of Lake Placid Finance & Accounting Department is lead and supported by the Village Treasurer who is the chief fiscal officer of the Village.  

The Treasurer is responsible for all monies in the custody of the Village and keeping accounts of money coming in to the Village and expenditures paid.  The Treasurer also prepares, at the end of each fiscal year. a report showing all financial activities as well as any outstanding debt.  This office also supports billing for Village provided utilities such as electricity, water and sewer.
