To both continue and foster the volunteer spirit that we will pass on to future generations. To provide exposure for our service and not-for-profit organizations. To welcome new members to our community providing an easy introduction to the many opportunities there are to participate in the life of the community. To celebrate the community and the people who make it great. By the community, for the community!"
Lake Placid Community Day is an initiative that began with the Lake Placid/North Elba Development Commission. It is an annual celebration of the Lake Placid Community with music, food, and fun - totally free!
